User Searching

Okay im sure this has been posted before but I need to know, Is there ANYWAY WHATSOEVER so search by username instead of files? its one of kazaa's few setbacks?

Nope you can't because different people can have the same username. You could always do a portscan over several ip ranges and see if anyone is running something on port 1214.
