the nature of bittorrent is that other clients reward u for uploading fast by uploading back fast

Yes, on a torrent with lots of seeds set your upload to 10kb/ps until the d/l finishes, then upload at max.

On a torrent with only a few seeds set it to 75% of your max upload to help the swarm feed you.:)
