Today I bough a pc off a drug dealer. Ya I know, it sounds stupid, but he needed money, and was selling it so I took it. He's bringing it to school tommorrow, he said its a P4, 80gb and 9250ATIRADEON. HE could remember the rest, no secret why he couldn't, and I'm paying him tommorrow. Was it a smart move? Do you tihnk he lied? He is somewhat computer literate, he was a huge gamer. Do you tihnk he's gonna try ripping me off tommorow? Like write "Intel P4" on the chip?

Most likely, he has filled the PC full of drugs for you to unwittingly keep safe for him. In a couple of months he'll offer to buy it back off you for twice the price. The old "store-the-drugs-stash-in-an-old-personal-computer-and-sell-it-to-someone-and-then-buy-it-back-later" trick, never fails.

9250ATIRADEON is dealer code for a new type of crack that will burn your eyebrows off from the inside. :true:

Dont forget this "dealer" is still at school...... how old does that make him?
Im sure Donald Trump was making deals and selling crp to other students when he was at school.
drug dealer is maybe the wrong terminology - young business entrepenuer is maybe more apprpriate.

It sounds like stolen merchandise. Purchasing it makes you illegally involved.

Eh, most people don't care if it's stolen or not. =/

But I bet there are at least 2 things wrong with it. =/

Stolen stuff is ok sometimes, quality-wise at least.

I have 2 Dell 19" LCD's courtesy of some cracky in the grocery store parking lot selling them out of a van brand new. He wanted $500 a piece but I got him to sell me 2 19" and a 17" for $400. :)

if this dealer is of school age, its probably his mums ($moms) computer :dabs:

once you get it up and running, look for lots of word documents saved to the desktop, and also useless emoticon apps that were never installed right, and about a billion extra toolbars in IE :dabs:
