nah, i just dont see why anyone would need that much processing power...i can think of a hundred ways to put that money to other good uses (im assuming the price is a bit much...just a bit)

Dual cores do not OC nearly as well as their single brothers and gameplay is not enhanced at all (yet).
Is this a socket 939 chip?
If so, not sure what the point might be.

I don't think the specification document is completely finalised yet.

Although the first page quotes it as having 2MB cache (which it would almost certainly have to have to achieve the 5000 rating), notes on subsequent pages designate it as having only 1MB cache.

Re OCing, not only is clocker right regarding dual core being harder to OC (presumably because of additional heat), the fact that the standard speed is 2600MHz means that there isn't as much headroom before physical constraints kick in, particularly at the 1.3V core voltage specified.
