Deputy spokesman for the U.S. Dept. of Homeland Security Brian Doyle has been arrested for attempting to solicit a 14-year-old girl on-line.

As it turns out, the girl was not a girl, but an undercover cop.

If this is on the up-and-up, I'll volunteer to cut his balls off and feed them to him.

Yeah I saw that last night. That's pretty scary.

They have so much evidence on him tha it's ridiculous. He apparently was on the computer with the "girl" when police came to his house.

He lives right up the beltway from here in Silver Spring (where cigs are banned in restaurants).

Yeah-he apparently revealed his job status during his first contact with the stinger.

That makes him a putz, as well as a pervert.

I wonder what further details will emerge...

even faux news does occassionally (http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,190604,00.html)

kev, get behind me in the line. You can still cut them off and feed them to him, I get to cook them with a blowlamp first............... once he is convicted of course.

he sounds kinky...

"Many of the conversations he initiated ... are too extraordinary and graphic for public release," a statement from the sheriff's office said.

In later chats, Doyle gave the detective his office phone number and his government-issued cell phone number so they could have telephone conversations.

not only is he a pervert, he is a pervert on goverment time.

@Vidcc- I was saying that it was strange that the story had broke, yet a google search of this guy's name last night didn't bring up anything about this story. Now there is news on google- I was wondering where J2K4 got his information, because apparently it is a good source.

It was all over the news yesterday evening, I saw it on a news flash during insanity and colmmes... 7-8 pm my time.

the "breaking news" was online without much detail pretty soon after..... I guess google isn't instant.

I wonder what happened that caused the cops to start an undercover investigation and whatnot?

The only info I heard to that end was Doyle was caught during a normal and ongoing preventive effort, and the dumbfuck walked right into the net and dropped his info right in their laps.

They didn't even have to set the hook.

As the saying goes-

If brains were gasoline, he wouldn't have enough to power a pissant's motorcycle once around the inside of a donut.

Apparently the cop was in Florida- I would like to have seen this pervs face when he realized that all the stuff that he said to that "14 year old girl" had been recorded by the cops in a nationwide sting operation. I bet it shocked the shit out of him.

I like that one, but my favorite way of describing someone this brain dead is the wheel is turning, but the hampster is dead.

I hear he yelled for someone else to answer the door, 'cuz he was like, um, busy.

You know what?

He's got almost a tailor-made insanity plea-no one could be that dumb without chemical impairment or clinical diagnosis of mental defect.

Besides the fact that he was pervert, I'm happy that a person this dumb isn't getting my taxpayer money anymore.

I'm not sure whether you fellows don't mean "glib" rather than "intelligent".

Remember, Bush's GPA was higher than Kerry's at Yale.

10 Things You Can Do Today To Protect Your Children from the Sexual Predators Who Want Them

http://www.bloggernews.net/2006/03/10-things-you-can-do-today-to-protect.html

1. Never EVER have a webcam on your computer. Predators have lured many an unsuspecting child into the world of online child pornography. There is never a reason for your child or you to have a webcam.

2. Become very familar with Internet safety sites such as I-Safe (http://www.isafe.org/), Wired Safety (http://www.wiredsafety.org/), and Perverted Justice (http://www.perverted-justice.com/), and the FBI's site (http://www.fbi.gov/publications/pguide/pguidee.htm).

3. I would recommend reading Rebecca Hagelin's book Home Invasion (http://www.homeinvasion.org/) as she explains how the Internet is being used to lure your children, and why parents need to be parents.

4. Talk to your children and teens about what they are doing online, and NEVER allow them a computer with Internet access in their bedrooms. All computers with Internet access need to be in an open space where you can watch what they are doing.

5. Monitor your children's friends and other places they may go to be online.

6. Find out what your school is doing to help protect your child while they are online at school.

7. Limit the time your children spend online to 1 hour a day, or longer if they truly need to be online doing research for school.

8. Make sure you know all of your children's screen names, and passwords. You are the parent, and have a right to know all information your child and teen are giving away online.

9. Use software that tracks your child's Internet activity. Bsafe Online (http://bsafehome.com/) is one of the most effective internet filtering systems.

10. Simply care and be involved in your children's lives, so that they do not feel the need to be online for their social interaction.

Good advice for many on this board, myself included....
