I made a total profit of £4.50 on today's Grand National.

What should I spend my winnings on?

I'm thinking beer, but that's a transient pleasure. I feel I should invest in something more permenant with the loot.

I spent twenty quid on bets on four horses. The one I put a tenner on (Cornish Rebel - on Crab-Girl's recommendation!) fell at the first, I put four quid on another and never heard its name, another I put a couple of quid on fell at the 20th fence or something and the one I put a fiver on because its name was a kinda like my Son's came in seventh.

So, yeah, I lost it all :dabs:

Meh. I wasn't stupid enough to put a whole tenner on Cornish Rebel, I only put a few pounds on it because I liked the name. I had a fiver on Jack High which was going well then fell over. Then a few quids on Hedgehunter on an each way, hence the enormous win.
