i dont see how any one can say simpsons isnt number 1. i know it sounds outrageous for me to think that way, as we all have the right to our own opinions. lets look at the facts..

1. Longest current running tv sieries... easily longest running cartoon ever, no syndicated of course.
2. Still wins it time slot hands down usually, after 13 years.
3. Still, after 13 years, is just as original, satyricle (sp?), and humorus as ever.
4. Has never sold out, besides for butterfinger. lol
5. Tremendously successfull toy line.

Personaly, i think its in a league of its own... i mean, its up there with the greatest tv shows of all time, period, let alone cartoons.


Rat... imho... xmen, the original was the greatest action/superhero, oriented cartoon ever... love that, can still repeats to this day, and never get sick of it.

sucks that they are not gonna make any new futurama episodes i am unhappy. 10-11 central time is the best hour of my life...First futurama followed by family guy you just cant go wrong..I also like undergrads i think that will become a good one as well.

Am I the only one who watches Tom & Jerry anymore?! :unsure: You can't beat the old classics, and you know it's entertaining when there's no need for dialog.


edit: as a side note, I caught part of He-Man the other day for the first time since I was like 10 and as an adult it was almost disturbing. I think that has to be the most homo-erotic cartoon in the history of animation. I don't know how it got past those straight laced republicans cause that little 'supposedly' gay teletubby had nothing on He-Man.

I never really got into the Transformers series. I LOVED Transformers: The Movie though. Great animation, action sequences, Leonard Nemoy as a voice actor, and a great soundtrack (including Weird Al Yankovic)! If I had to pick a Transformers series, I'd say Transformers: Beast Machines. The computer animation was a blast, and even though the series was probably the shortest, it had a great story. Oh, and I think Transformers: Armada is the worst yet...
