Don't use programs it makes you more of a n00b. Go to sites and read up and learn. Then you will get good. A person using progs against ppls are the biggest n00bs. Hacking is hard and there is no easy way to learn it.

Just go to google and type stuff in you want to know about hacking; there is plenty sites.

What's the point of hacking people 's computer's anyway, instead why not learn a programming language and put your skills to good use, there's plently of demand for them and then atleast you've got something out of it.

You can always get one of those hacking books in bookshops. Or try out the tutorial at http://www.try2hack.nl. I'll doubt you'll get past level 2 :P.

hacker

n. [originally, someone who makes furniture with an
axe] 1. A person who enjoys exploring the details of programmable
systems and how to stretch their capabilities, as opposed to most
users, who prefer to learn only the minimum necessary. 2. One who
programs enthusiastically (even obsessively) or who enjoys
programming rather than just theorizing about programming. 3. A
person capable of appreciating hack value. 4. A person who is
good at programming quickly. 5. An expert at a particular program,
or one who frequently does work using it or on it; as in `a Unix
hacker'. (Definitions 1 through 5 are correlated, and people who
fit them congregate.) 6. An expert or enthusiast of any kind. One
might be an astronomy hacker, for example. 7. One who enjoys the
intellectual challenge of creatively overcoming or circumventing
limitations. 8. [deprecated] A malicious meddler who tries to
discover sensitive information by poking around. Hence `password
hacker', `network hacker'. The correct term for this sense is
cracker.

That is a true to life definition of a hacker. Someone who never stops learning.
People who use progs. like sub7 are fucking llamas.

most people see hacking as a bad thing.. depends on which kind.

What do u want to do?

Hack your o/s to tweak it.
Hack software to mod it up.err change graphics and stuff(cracking to trying to unlock it, or make it free)
Hack a computer server (to get information, exploit, or to test...they pay hackers to test a server's strength now a days)

Also..there's

Whitehat hackers: They are the IT Admin security of corporate servers
Blackhat hackers: They want to explore, sneak, or just plain piss people off.
Redhat hackers:(it's an early term..not just for Redhat os) Linux hacking....basicly
