Download speeds

hey guys my download speeds are pretty low even though i am on a 6mb connection cold anyone tell whether there any programs or utilities that could increase my speeds. thanx a lot

there can be many reasons why your download speed is slow. check the sticky threads.

-uploadspeed is set very high
-firewall/router is blocking the bittorrent port
-client settings are not correct
-nr. of seeders/peers

Is it slow in general, for all torrents? It might be the tracker you're connected to.

Edit: Or do what the above mentioned, check stickies :)
