Dee Caffari is currently attempting to sail single-handed round the world. She sailed out of Portsmouth in November. You can send her a message of support via the website here http://www.avivachallenge.com/ and learn more about what she is doing, where she is just now etc. Perhaps some of the people here would like to cheer her up a bit and offer some support. I'm not a big sailing fan or anything. I just heard her on the radio and she said that the mesages kept her going and gave her a good lift.

Ive just increased my ratio again, just under 50% increase this time, if my basic arithmetic hasnt let me down.

And also, Portsmouth is not right next to Plymouth like what seems to be the common opinion. It is far away. Very far away.

They publish some of the messages, maybe FST could get some publicity if people used that as their location.

thanx for link, nice boat
however i would prefer to do a trip like that with a bunch of friends, and stop as often as possible, spend atleast 5 yrs minimum
instead of solo, hi speed see only h2o type of trip

I don't know what Magellan looked like, I don't think anyone does, but I'd wager he didn't look like that horse faced emo-chick you posted.
