AVI/DiVX/XViD to Animated Gif? Quick Question

Hey All,

Can someone recommend a good program to help me take a section of an divx/xvid and create an animated gif from it? I have found a few but have run into errors with the 123 avi to gif program and a couple others. Thanks alot! :)

i generally use virtual dub to cut out the section i want, then iport it into animation shop.
virtual dub is free and simple

You could always use Flash as well. Import the movie, cut what parts you dont want, then export as a gif.
