Windows 2000 Cant Go Online.

I have windows 2000 on a partion and i want to get it online. it cant seem to connect because the drivers for the LAN card are not correct. I tried used the mother board CD (has the LAN drivers), but that didnt help. I also tried forceing it to use noncompatable ones, but that didnt work(like it ever does..).
It worked when i had my other older mobo, but now i got a new one. (gigabyte brand, realtek NIC).

btw i use the windows2000 partion for testing stuff, running virtual o/ses. I just installed it.

I fixed it.
I downloaded the latest drivers for the card modle for windows 2000 and used them...now it connects to the internet.

I had a problem with xp and my cd rewite the manufacture web site usually has updated drivers.
