Is there any way I can remove the blurs from porn (intentional pixelation)?

Download non-pixelated porn. I don't know anything about how they do it, if they add a layer of video over what's pixelated then maybe a video editing program will work, but if they remove the video from it then don't count on it.

Finally, a newbie asks a question that hasn't been discussed a million times before! Good job Dave (if that is your real name), and welcome to the board.

If you've ever seen the Howard Stern show on the E! channel, they use a lot of pixelation (of course). But I have seen uncensored video from the show on the Internet. I always wondered if they were from the original footage before the pixels were added, or if somebody removed it somehow. It seems logical to me that if the file is digital, and the pixels were added digitally - there should be some way to undo it. Kind of like fixing a corrupt file.

Unfortunately I've never heard of any program that can do it, but I'll keep looking! ;)

I think those are from tapes they sell. Its like the jerry springer ones. Uncensored footage. Its just a way for them to get more money.

As for the question, no idea.

Isn't "pixellated porn" an oxymoron?

Where are you getting this stuff, the Family Channel? :P

Japanese hardcore porn is often pixelated (or so I've heard  ).

You are trying to uncook eggs. It can't be done.

Have to agree. It would be like removing a character from a movie and seeing whats behind him. It is impossible!

I do believe it is possible. Just like adding color to a black and white movie. I also believe it is possible to increase the quality and resolution of an image. After all, the big pixelation blocks contain the original info, just blurred.

Just take the advice before you embaress yourself, your wrong.

Once the effect has been added, it will have probably done with layers, once the video has been exported to the right format, all the layers will have been flattened, and thus you will not be able to remove pixelation.

As for increasing images to a higher resolution from a lower one, it is probably possible with some high-end $4000 graphics program, but I doubt it will do it very well.
