need help urgent

i need to know how to decrease My speed (bandwidth) on my comp

Connection is:: 107 Kbps about 0.11 Mbps (tested with 97 kB)



i want to make it to 18Kbps <_< for only one day !

i use netlimiter but i know there is other free software outthere which does the same - search for bandwidth in internet and software sections

what are you using to d/load stuff with,if its utorrent you can go into options>preferences>network options and limit you bandwidth in there

Let me put it to you this way. i want to slow down my net connection speed on my computer i mean on entire system (note: for only one day plz dont ask me why)not on some HTTP or ftp or any other protocols. i know this is weird. but its urgent and important to me plz dont ask any other questions plz plz tell me how its done !



i dont have a router , i am on cat5 connection(Ethernet kinda lan dunno wat to say ) but i know its not ADSL or CABLE modem !

First question: If it's a cat5 connection without a router and you say it's not ADSL or Cable then what type of connection is it?

Second question: Why slow it down for a day?

Third question: How urgent is this?
