The site says
"We have no problems with members using a private, or secured, medium to communicate with their friends about us, such as private IRC chat (not public channels), msn, AOL, IQC or email. Only the use of FSC in public is allowed."

It's a private site of less than 4000 members. Invites are pretty exclusive. Sharing of the URL in public is not allowed and the only reason you would ever need it would be if you had an invite to the site.
