Hmmm, I used to cater for a company that had a DJ, and the DJ played alot of these songs, which I now can't stand...

Billy Idol Mony Mony
Soft Cell Tainted Love
Steppenwolf Born To Be Wild
Cyndie Lauper Girls Just Wanna Have Fun
Big Bopper The Wanderer
Cher Believe
James Brown I Feel Good
Monkees I Am A Beliver
Black Eyed Peas My Humps
Christina Aguilera Genie In A Bottle
Destiny's Child No No No
Destiny's Child Survivor
Jennifer Lopez Let's Get Loud
Justin Timberlake Rock Your Body
Madonna Music
Pink Get This Party Started
Sisquo Thong Song
Usher Yeah

By the way, I picked the ones I remember hearing him play alot from a list I found here: http://english.partyboerse.net/playlist.html

Well, music from the 1960s is drastically different from music from the 1980s. ;) I'm not really sure what kind of feel you're looking for.

If you mix disco 70s stuff with 80s pop, it may work out. There's enough of a similarity between the two that it won't be jarring.
