Terrible engineering, in my opinion. I don't think a rifle made out of iron would be much use to a soldier.

A soldier told me that Mannlicher made excellent rifles. We were talking about hunting rifles at the time though.

He seemed to know what he was talking about and had been in the Kings Own for several years. Though like I said before we were talking about hunting rifles at the time. Perhaps their military weapons aren't as good. I'll ask tomorrow.
