Where to post a release?

I'd like to release an ebook I wrote, but I'm not sure where I can do it. I don't want to spam or to annoy anyone so please point me to the right forum.

The books and comics section would be a good place to start and i'm sure no one would mind even if you put a link in your sig.

If it's something you wrote yourself you could host it almost anywhere.
To share somthing like that I would use rapidshare, or even converting to text to post in a forum.
