ISO to AVI

What is the quickest/best way to convert ISO files to AVI or WMV, I used DVD Decryptor to put some Game DVDs onto my computer, however I need them in AVI or WMV to edit them for a highlight tape, I tried WinAVI but it just gets stuck and freezes... if you suggest GordianKnot or whatever that is, please explain how to use it, thank you.

ISO is an image file. It doesn't necessarily contain video information. It could be an image of a program file.

You can use a program like ISO Buster to see what the ISO file contains and then extract what you want. Any video that you extract will be another form than ISO so you can convert whatever format it is to AVI or WMV.
