Program or Website to save streaming video?

Anyone know of a program, or even better a website where i can paste in a URL that i have for a streaming movie so i can save it?

keepvid is a pretty amazing site. if you want a vid from google video or youtube or basically any online video site it'll do it all for you.

only prob i've had is that when i save an avi from google vid it won't play in WMP but fine in VLC of course. it's odd.
