Some members may get annoyed by the constant NZB Forum post bumps or other forum's posts showing up on the new posts list so here's how you can exclude a forum from this list.
Just add &exclude=X to the end of the newposts url (http://filesharingtalk.com/vb3/search-getnew/)
Where X is a list fo ForumIDs (seperated by commas) to exclude.
Example:
http://filesharingtalk.com/vb3/search-getnew/?exclude=80,106,107,108,120This will block the NZB forum's posts from showing on the new posts list.:)
Enjoy...

Nice, thanks :)
Can we have that as a quicklink, or is it too much of a personal preference to be part of the main board features?

Can we have that as a quicklink, or is it too much of a personal preference to be part of the main board features? You can simply store it as a Bookmark/Favorite in your browser.

rossco, I just don't know how to use the info you gave. I mean do I insert an x into the/a url every time?

No, here's an example URL that i put in the first post:
http://filesharingtalk.com/vb3/search.php?do=getnew&exclude=80,106,107,108,120
You can just edit the numbers on the end of that URL to the forum IDs that you want to exclude.

You can see it all in a code box.

If you look at the URL of forums on the main page (click (http://filesharingtalk.com/vb3/index.php)) you will see either:
fX-title.html (synapse skin) or f=X (other skins). The X will be the forum's ID.
For example see this url:
http://filesharingtalk.com/vb3/forumdisplay.php?f=9
9 is the forum id. (This is for the forum 'Everything Related to the Board')

http://filesharingtalk.com/vb3/external.php?type=RSS2&forumids=80,106,107,108,120
This example shows ONLY the NZB forums.
You can add whatever IDs you want, seperated by columbs, to the end of that URL.
Not sure if there's a way to only exclude forums instead of saying which ones you want, but i'm sure this will work for you.
How about adding a new button eg: NPL (newpostLite) or something in that top bar?
excluding merelly nzbs?

New button would be nifty though that bar is a bit crowded already.
Think those that want should bookmark it as how they want it...
Here's mine:
