Norton Antivirus 2003

I've been using Norton AV 2003 for some time now and all of a sudden after I reboot I get message from AV saying "You need administrator privalges to perform this action". Thats it, no details, nothing. I am the administrator of this comp....there is only 1 account! Any suggestions? My firewall has been getting hits like crazy for the last week or so? TCP port attacks - Backdoor trojan/subSeven.

I think you created a Norton account to do the settings, not use with the Windows. Maybe that's why you need the admin rights.
