Guys,

I downloaded a movie but I can't get it to play. I tried it with WMP 11 but it only plays sound. I get a popup saying 'The selected file has an extension (,mkv) that is not recognized by WMP, but the Player may still be able to play it'.

With VLC 0.8.5, it plays and you can hear the sound but the picture is pixelated mess and runs at about 1 frame every 5 seconds.

Do you think it's because I have crappy specs?

AMD 1.2ghz
1024 DDR ram
Nvidia FX5200
