Norton Automatic Live Update

Automatic update refuses to turn on. Have set it to on in the options, but it still wont show as on. Any ideas please?

you sure your registration has not run out.

No, registration is until 25th March 2004. It's always worked until now. Can't think of any reason why it has stopped.

Make sure that Windows Task Scheduler is running. That is required for auto update.

seen this before, try to uninstall and remove registry keys that point to norton anti virus. Reinstall software and then it should work fine. Worked for me.

also some viruses will turn it off so id do a an online scan just to be shure
