Nah, with that new ball we'll be seeing all sorts of "good" goals, wait until a good team like Brazil or Turkey get a hold of that ball.

Won't that be hand ball, thats seriously gonna hamper Turkeys chances of winning it.

He just blootered it, a great goal is when the person does what they intend to do.

Like Ronaldinho chipping Semen, from the half-way line, to knock Engerland out of the last Cupe de Monde.

Or Ronaldo toe bashing on a one timer pass , can't remember who it was against .

The ball curved a little. It was setted up very nicely for Frings.

There's going to be more than one final??

Are there going to be 3 semi-finals in this thing as well then? Are Turkey in one of them?

It didn't swerve as much as Frings' goal - so technically it was a better effort.

What with these balls being mental and all.

They should do away with goalies - There would be plenty more goals without goalies, and also it would mean that the fat kids at school wouldn't have an excuse not to run around.

Don't be so touchy. No offense to Peat Moss but I doubt he knows that much about the goal/world cup football. :smilie4:

I agree. It was also totally like meant. You could see him planning what to do as the ball dropped. It wasn't just a big dig.

I still like the Argentine passing movement.

So far it's between those two. I think a purist (someone who knows a bit about football) would go with the team goal. Whereas someone who likes the sensational (Americans) would go with the shot.

Agreed, better than the Cole goal.

This World cup has produced some amazing goals.
