So your keeper boots the ball up the park and it hits a telly, resulting in a dropped ball.

What would the proper etiquette be.

Where's the brawl option?

In Canadia, where they play nice hockey.

Don't get smug because your team got a jammy 1-0 win today.

I don't really know a lot about soccer Etiquette, but I’m going to have a go.
At a guess, not contested but other team keeps the ball.

depends really on who's telly it was, and is the owner a nice person :D

He's a German.
Probably not a nice person.

In that case, no argument as they have the advantage of water cannon.

What exactly was someone doing with a telly on the park in the first place? That is a definite breach of etiquette - even if you are trying to work out what the hell is going on in Lost.

It was there so folk could watch replays.

Not that I give a shit about sports... but it's called football, dammit!

And american "football" is just rugby for pussies.

I thought it was now called puntsphere, for clarity.

450 year old ball
the centrepiece of an exhibition on the history of the sport.
The 16th century ball is made from a pig's bladder and the cover constructed from pieces of thick leather, possibly deer, and tightly laced together.

Pig's Bladder :fact:

Looks like last years Premiership beachball-painted thing.

I think that FST should officially designate terms for both football (real) and football (American).
Football (real), in keeping with current trends, should be referred to as Fewtball, while football (American) should not be referred to at all.

That should clear things up a little.

Hockey>Soccer in terms of the violence content.

You can expect a fight in 2 matches.
