fifa's actually pretty decent on the psp...generally i'm not a fan of fifa (def. prefer pes/we)...but there are things that fifa does better (more so on the psp) such as commentary, number of teams and so on...i kinda enjoy the be a pro mode as well...playing as torres or gerrard feels awesome

too bad i can score like 5 goals in a single game with torres...as much as i like doing that...it just doesn't feel realistic at all (gotta try '10 yet but i can't see it being much different either)

i dont imagine there will be much improvement in 2010, but is should be good regardless

pes 2009 is alright on psp but the menus and layout are downright homo
camera and gameplay also get fucked quite often, so FIFA is more simple and elegant and overall better

trust me i'm not a big fan of gen either...i thought about 50 times before i finally made the plunge...but the good thing is, most of the latest Gen version is based on D_A's cfw so they are mostly very similar (and work very well too)

as for the CXMB, yeah that's the biggest pain in upgrading every time...however, cxmb is also supported with Gen D2 and there are already a bunch of themes out for it so you might wanna check those out ^^

I'm playing Metro 2033.

Most of the time the graphics are killer. The environment can be felt on a level above most games.

But...

The gameplay mechanics are sh*t-house.

The game is a FPS first and foremost, and lacks the fundamental mechanics to make it enjoyable.

The aiming is sloppy on the 360. When you shoot an enemy the shot response is buggy, you might be aiming at the head and because it was moving it doesnt registar -- total BS.

I've been obsessed with Demigod. It's a little glitchy sometimes but only sometimes. Other than that minor problem the game is fantastic. I trained with the computer, which is fun, but it really came to life whe I started playing online. It's an RST/RPG/Action game. The rpg style leveling happens in real time and you really have to be on your toes (no drinking or "smoking" lol). When starting to play online I recommend going into "custom games" and then finding a "noob only" game. Other wise you will get your but handed to you and it won't be pretty.

Wow what an enlightening thread ,I'm glad I discovered it.:mellow:

I just finished MoH which true to what I've read is both incredibly short in single player( 5 hrs) and also kind of sucky.
The thing that I disliked the most was the total lack of choice on the players part and also the different varieties of play ( sniping ,driving the ATV, piloting the helicopter ) seemed tacked on as opposed to "native" to the gameplay.
Besides that story was OK even though there was more clearly defined start to finish mission ( didn't care for the pre-epilogue ending as already been there done that with much better games).

Things I liked : Strangely most of the stuff with the Rangers as opposed to the "starring" Seals, especially the "last stand" at the surrounded hut either though it avian has been done to death elsewhere.
The characters were OK too and I did feel a bit of connection to the team even if laughably everyone but me seemed to be immortal .

I just tore through Black Ops single player in a day .It was appreciably better than MoH but still no reason for it to be the blockbuster that it is .
Biggest complaint is that ,not being into MP , it's more or less a one time through experience. That and the ending is very anti-climatic and the levels don't really have an upward swing in difficulty .

Btw anyone know of any reason to bash my head against the wall in the zombie mode? I've gotten really far along in it and I'm wondering if there is some sort a "pay-off" or it's just play until you die for no real point.

currently I'm playing Halo 1 but in the multi-player mode,

had it for years on a CD but I never knew the copy I had could be played online until someone asked me if they could borrow it
and later told me that it could, just had to use a patch that was somewhere in the disc.
It is so awesome, I had never played online or multi-player on the PC I love it.

Yeah, I never finished it as I also thought it got pretty boring after a while. I need to revisit it though and to see if it will grow on me. Plus I want to play the sequel, and I really can't without finishing the first.

Anyways, I've been playing a bit of the GoldenEye 007 remake, and it is surprisingly good. Although the game is so "wobbly" it kind of gets me sick at times. I hate it when games do that to me. But it's a fun game though.

Need for Speed Hot Pursuit . First let me say that with the exception of Shift I've enjoyed the NFS series but this is horrible beyond belief. I played it for 20 minutes and erased it from my compute, something I never do.
I guess my need for speed requires some reason to play beyond finishing first in a little computer car and getting to see my name onscreen:unsure:. Maybe a minimal storyline to make the struggle with the terrible controls seem a little more worthwhile would be a start..

I also got up to level 56 in the "Five " level of the zombie side game in CoD: Black Ops. While it was fun for a while after killing never-ending waves of the undead for again no apparent reason I basically said fuck it.:mellow:

I'm playing NFS Hot Pursuit and I'm loving it... Somehow it remembers me of high stakes that was, in my oppinion, the best NFS ever released. At the same time, I know the game won't change and it's going to get boring real soon, which is too bad =/

i finally stopped playing it for this reason. now i'm playing "shadow ops: red mercury" and i have to say it's surprisingly good for a game that is able to run on a comp such as mine :yup:
