favorite "everything" site

Most people have certain sites they go to to get certain things. I, for example use oink for music, bitme for elearning, myspleen for animated tv shows, empornium for porn, etc etc etc.

Similarly, I'm betting most people have a default site where they go to get everything. so what's yours?

I'll start off...

My favorite "everything" site is demonoid. Why? it's got a ton of files, consistently good (but not GREAT) speeds, an effective searching function, a good selection of mac stuff, and even the option for external torrents.

It seems as though every time I use torrentspy or isohunt to track down some random torrent, it just ends up spitting out a link to a torrent already tracked on demonoid.

Lastly, since ratios are only loosely enforced, users generally don't have the fear of downloading that is common in some invite-only sites (oink?). That way, there's always leechers, in case you actually want to improve your ratio.

There is no doubt about it in my mind that the best "everything" site is demonoid
i just wish they were a little more strict about ratios.Anyone that is a regular at that site must of heard of a guy with the screenname vertigo,Just wanted to say that he uploads the most useful torrents and puts a lot of work into them.Check his torrents out if you get a chance.

That's not really a torrent site, and by that I mean... it's more of a pay for service. Do you mean torrentbytes.net?

I personally like demonoid, very large. However, for xbox 360... i personally like revolutiontt.net right now.

My favourite is POTUK, is has everything you need, they get the scene release's quicker than any other site i use, including TL and ScT.

demonoid is def a good everything site. I also use TL and WB or Bitsoup a fare bit.

Demonoid is definitely up there - there tv shows torrents surely cant be beat. For the world cup games, denness and mininova come up trumps - being able to have the bbc commentary rather than espn is a godsend. Maxxed forums is the first notification place for all soccer related torrents

And a small but niche site would be uknova - lots of great bbc shows on there for the exiles!

a new elearning site but excellent for learning material and they have good a community

Demonoid:
if i look for something special (software or an old game) i find it on Demonoid.
Great site and the speed is not so bad. it's OK
