Attention Men: Beer Could Prevent Prostate Cancer .

One of the main ingredients in beer may help prevent prostate cancer, according to a new study by Oregon State University researchers.

But they say do not rush out to stock the refrigerator. That main ingredient is present in such small amounts that a person would have to drink more than 17 beers to gain any protection .

However doctors stopped short yesterday of saying that coffee should be drunk for that reason.
