My Beloved Argentina 6 - 0 Wee Diddy Team (That Engerland would scrape past with a jammy last minute goal)

The wee diddy team that only conceeded one goal in qualifying.

Argentina are fantastic. Their second goal is below for those in the UK*

24 passes wasn't it?

Didn't really want to see the fat Diego celebrating though

Yeah, cracking goal too!

Seen Robben get booked for diving even tho' he was fouled. Jose Reina was heard saying 'Good'.

Arse, I was going to pick Van Persie for my dream team for today but ended up picking Robben, all he is going to get me is minus points for the yellow :frusty:

Looks like I have to pin my hopes of a good haul on Omar Bravo when Mexico play later as Riquelme didn't score today.

Tevez was in my team last week and didn't get a game so I dropped him, this week he plays, scores and sets one up :frusty:

Argentina's goals were all brilliantly taken, but the fact that Serbia & Monty Negro weren't even trying to defend during the whole match would make it an insult if anyone called the goals "goal of the tournament".

So Madonna's mazey run and excellent finish, when Engerland weren't actually defending wasn't that good after all. Feck I've thought it was brilliant for years.

Or the passing movement from Brazil, finished by Carlos Alberto, was that a bit "meh" in your book as well.

I'm part Generation X and a part Generation Y, I say "meh" to everything.

Do you say "meh" to "meh" one is forced to wonder.

The goal has to be up there with the 4th Brazilian goal against Italy in 1970's, i would say the goal was better, but the opponent wasn't as good (but still not bad).
