Same here but I also own NewsLeecher. It's really hard to decide witch one to use mainly but at the moment I'm in favor of NL.

newsleecher because i like the interface, i like supersearch even though it's not perfect, and it's worked better for me than any other usenet client.

NewsLeecher, just bought it about a week ago and absolutely loving the Supersearch. Haven't used any indexing sites since.

grabit rocks! and it's free! just wondering, do paid programs have features that grabit doesn't?

Damnatory

I'm probably the only Usenet Vet here that prefers Grabit to Newsleecher.

Not only is it freeware, it's light on system resources, and is simple.

If you're only planning on using NZB's as I do, there is no need to have tons of extra gizmos and gadgets to fart around with, when all you need is to load an NZB, download, decode. Grabit is perfect me. :P

nzbget works great for me. Plus it's free/opensource. Who needs a GUI for batch jobs like nzb downloads anyway? :P

i am a newbie i search a little and tried a lot of things.I saw that all members use newsleecher or newsbin but unfortunately i ddidnt like their GUI,i have said i am newbie and i dont know exactly what are their features.I tried xnews, grabit and NZB-O-Matic ,now i am using NZB-O-Matic.

If question was "what is the best understandable client for newbies it should be NZB-O-Matic or grabit"
If question was "what is the best client for advanced , there are a lot of members who said newsleecher or newsbin already."

As far as I know, NZB-O-Matic has one use, that is to download files off of Usenet using NZB files. With the likes of NewsLeecher, you can download all the headers for each group and download whatever you want, as well as post onto Usenet too.

You should have a read of this (http://www.slyck.com/ng.php?page=1) to be honest.

I used to like grabit because it was free and it ran well but now i use sabnzbd and i like it even more. sabnzbd doesn't look as good but it works great, it does not take much to run and doesn't slow anything down and when it is all don't it will even par it and unrar it for you.

I like grabit because it's simple plus it will label incomplete files too. Not too good for downloading headers from large ngs but otehrwise it's ok. Powergrab was decent for that but isn't updated anymore.

Ive always used newsleecher , but ive just found ultraleecher , which does all the pars and unzipping for you . Your then left with just what you wanted . Seems great.

UCA007

I tried unzipping feature before peterjohno but I like to save the data in the .rar and pars files because is needed when uploading to trackers. I could always extract when needed but to rar the iso takes way too long.
