Best way to wireless, keep router and get access point or new router?

Hey Guys,

I recently picked up a laptop and wanted to set up wireless in my house. I have a cable connection currently running to a Linksys router with 8 port switch. Is there an access point that will give me a good signal that I can use in conjunction with my current router or should I just get a wireless one?

I got the 8 port one for a helluva good deal so I would hate to part with it.

There's very little difference in price between a wireless router and an access point. If you choose the right one you could have 4 wired ports too, maybe more.

Unless you need more wired ports, get a wireless router and sell the Linksys.
