Can Engerland play somewhere near their obvious potential and win what should be a fairly easy match?

Or will they play as a disparate group of overpaid, selfish egotists and let their country down. Again.

Just got back from Veti shop,
I'm well lucky, only 4 tins of Carling & 2 tins of Strongbow left, his shop got broke into last night, they nicked all the beer,

Come on England!

You don't look like a World beating team chaps. In fact it's difficult to pick out a good individual performance.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but that was Carrick's first competitive match. Excellent performance that.

The young lad from Canadia also did well.

I really hope Portugal and Holland go through to the next round, they're both much more interesting to watch than Engerland.

They'll probably play for the draw so they both qualify for the next knockout stage. Cheating bloody Europeans.

Beckham threw up on the pitch, eh? When I used to play six-a-side my mate threw up on the pitch 'cos he'd been drinking before the match.

That Carrick was okay but he's no Canadian.

Hargreaves, ftw.

To be fair though Hargreaves could have played for 5 other national teams. I imagine his order of preference would have been like this:

1. England
2. Wales
3. Germany*
4. Scotland
5. Northern Ireland
6. Canada

*had he not accepted selection for England when he did, he would soon have been eligible for Germany under residency rules.

Are you not posting in this thread again?

That's a bit of a shame.

Thats a funny one ,the pucking before a game . Just nerves my older boy puked before every Football game drove his mom nuts , boy hated to loose tho .

Was well liked by his team tho as he never gave up . .

I think I'd puke too, if every football game drove my mum nuts.

Lampard has had the most strikes on goal in the tournament, without scoring :smilie4:

How the hell did Equator get this far? They could barely kick the bawl strait. :dabs:

Lampard probably hits about 50 shots per game on an average day for Chelsea.
