Okay i've just installed the latest nvidea drivers
everything works okay
but after you reboot, the nvidea icon on the taskbar displays a stupid message informing me that my SLI option has been disabled as i only have 1 GPU.

Now this happens after every reboot, how can i disable this spam message & link?

Have found a way around it
used customize notifications & changed behaviour to "always hide"
stupid nvidea spam, even worse than microsoft!

It's nvidia.

What version of driver did you install? Never seen this issue before.

What card do you have?

You can remove the nvidia icon from the taskbar altogether: Right click your desktop>Properties>Settings>Advanced>nvidia tab>Tools>Remove the checkmark from [ ] Enable taskbar icon and click OK.

Ok, its the new nvidia 91.31 WHQL drivers
Got a 6600 GT PCI Express NON SLI motherboard.
Basically the spam bubble takes you to a site which explains how great it would be if i had 2 GPU's.
Now if my motherboard supported this or i had money to waste it could be an option but i only need to be informed about this once, not every time i reboot!

If i had money to waste i'd buy a better graphic card.

Heh I have a 6600GT also but AGP and I as well have this problem, but yeah that is a Beta Driver so I guess thta is a 'bug' as turning off the notice as Virtualbody suggggested doens't work because once you reboot again it just pops up.

-Going to try your workaround Morebeer. But ehh how do you do that =X

Guys its spy ware or ad ware if you prefer , check your start up and disable ?

And while your at it get a better Spyware program . I was thinking Giant would of warned you of changes to the Start Up Registry . But just guessing
and may be wrong . :)

Well dunno if it is spyware or not as I use SpySweeper...

I fixed the problem by -
control panel>taskbar & start menu>customise> then made NVIDIA settings - always hide.
So therefore the message never appears.

The driver isn't beta it's WHQL.
I doubt if a spyware program would detect it as it's part of the new driver.

there's a fix for the sli bubble pop-up, but seeing how u've already by passed it it's irrevelant. anyway, why not just install the NEW 91.33's? those are best. the 91.31's are way to buggy and do everything half assed. tested the 91.33's and all my benches went up and CSS (only game i'm playing atm) plays perfect. no video color problems and/or anything else i can tell so far. gl/hf.

Well they must be very new drivers as they're not even on nvidia's home driver page yet!
Are they WHQL certified?
Though that didn't really help the last time?
