Mouse Issue

Hey there guys just after a bit of help!

Im running windows Xp Pro when I play counter strike over the net (i have a 1mb line) i have problem with my mouse (Optical) as it wont move just little bits. Its brand new so it doesnt need replacing im wondering if its something to do with xp??

Yes it could be a driver problem. Are you using the software that came with the mouse, or the standard XP detection software?

The driver i downloaded off microsoft site. I read something about windows xp does something to the mouse and you could turn it off. i read it in here a while back but i cant remember

So you can't remember if you installed the XP driver or the original software?
Try to remove the mouse from System/Hardware yes just remove it...

Restart your pc (it will nag about a new MOUSE found! Use the software that came with the mouse!!!)

Try that!

Im using the microsoft ones that came with it! Which would be better USB or ps/2
