Whenever I try to capture a frame using BSPlayer, the jpg it creates is always just a green/purple blur, the objects in the frame can't be seen at all. Can anyone help? :huh:

I didnt know you could do that with bs player.
How do you do that mate?

Whilst the file is playing press either;

P for the original size

or

SHIFT+P for "what you see"

Or alternatively, right click in the screen and click "Capture frame"
Make sure you choose a destination (in the preferences) to save 'em to.

Anyone know how to solve my problem tho? :D

this may be the most stupid thing i have ever said (don't worry, i'll probably say something more stupid soon), but how about pausing the video, then capturing the frame?

That probably IS the stupidest thing you could say! Do you think I hadn't tried that?! :P
P.S If you hadn't realised yet, pausing it 1st doesn't work

EDIT: That sounded more harsh than it should have :)

why dont you just pause it and press "prt sc" on your keyboard, then go into paint and hit "crtl + v" and it will make a screen shot, just edit from there

That's really awkward, especially if I want to make a lot of captures.

Does Virtual Dub have the same function? Is it as simple as pressing a key whilst watching the file?

just use my way, vd is easyer but it can mess things up when screen shottin
