Music Warning
more than 200,000 users of Kazaa and Grokster music
swap websites recived messages via the web sites saying they can be identified and face legal penalties. The messages came from the main industry body that represents record companies....

how did they get the e-mail address of the ppl
did Kazaa and groster sell the list of members e-mail address
or did they hack the site

what do you think about it ??

They got IMs from Kazaa and Grokster. No email.

They are instant messages (IMs :rolleyes: ), not emails.

Depending how you're interpreting my message? :huh: When I say the IMs were from Kazaa and Grokster I mean that the IMs were from Kazaa and Grokster's IM system. I figured you read the thread in Filesharing Skillian posted before posting this.

Guess I was wrong.
