The 1986 was one of my earliest and fondest World Cup memories so I'm looking forward to this one. I'm going to be taking the controversial route of supporting France for this game because I don't want Brazil to win another World Cup.

I hope it goes to penalties though, just so some other nation can share my misery at England's defeat.

The penalty shoot-out for the 1986 match was great, I remember the ball being hit off the post and then hitting the keeper to go in. I can't remember which side did that though.

I'd like it if Platini came on as the special guest referee and then brought Zidane down as he ran into the penalty box for a certain goal.

Later turning the other way, to tie his lace, when (insert German or Italian players name here) punched the ball into the net for a dubious goal. Giving them the goal and blowing for time up, with about 7 minutes of time left.
