I'm after some places I can get hold of good quality fantasy/sci fi audiobooks, I did have all of terry pratchett's stuff, but many of the files are choppy jump all over and missing chunks. So It's a case of trying to replace those first. I'm looking for either emule,BT, or ice methods, if anyone can help?

oink has loads of them, granted you're a member. Or you can always resort to demonoid...

If you like older sci-fi then you might want to check out some of the Old Time Radio stuff. They have an abundance of cool stories and are not hard to find.

Demonoid is good.

There are also large numbers of audiobooks on usenet.

e.g. alt.binaries.mp3.audiobooks

following from a link in another thread, i like the quantity on
irc.undernet.org #bookz
but the search seems dreadful (i.e. you need to download text files of the bot's books, to search all of them, and then finally you can request the book. Seems much too much hard work.)

Does anyone have a good place for searching for regular ebooks which doesnt require all this work? I regularly use usenet for my downloads, but newzbin doesnt have that many, and im too lazy for searching loads of groups' headers.

edit: apologies for thread hijaking - i thought i was in the ebook thread...if a kindly mod is around, then please to be cutting this post to its own.

Thanks

I know of a good site with audiobooks but pm for the address cause I don't think the site owner wants the address on a public forum.

i recently found a good children audio books from http://www.karaditales.com (http://www.karaditales.com/)
it has proved itself as a premier portal for Children learning and entertainment. With a catalogue of audio books,Karadi tales has done a commendable job in imparting quality learning to children.
