I wouldn't say that, I get mostly all my metal and hardcore from there too. VIPmusic is pretty good too.

i have been trying to build up my music collection over the last few weeks, and two public trackers that have always featured with high seed count were btbeat.com (esp. for brit music) and torrentbox.com (isohunt's sister site), so it might be a good idea to register and hunt in them too for torrents
