Was it Cannibal Holocaust?
Or the fire extinguisher scene in Irreversible?
Maybe Cradle Of Fear did it for you?
Or The Exorcist?
Or that old soft porn flick where Sylvester Stallone does a full frontal?

A movie I saw some years ago called I spit on your grave, very graphic repeated rape scenes.

Bad Taste is a top movie. It was directed by Peter Jackson who went on to make Braindead and The Lord of the Rings Trilogy. Not bad for a first film!!

I find the scene in Suspiria where the girl falls into the lift shaft filled with razor-wire quite unnerving. Ouch!! :o

The dead-guy-in-boat-underwater bit in Jaws always makes me jump even though I've seen it a million times.

I Spit On Your Grave, where she cuts the blokes dick off. Makes me wince thinking about it!!

When Leatherface comes out from behind the metal screen door and hits the man over the head with a sledgehammer from The Texas Chainsaw Massacre.

Sadako climbing out of the well and jerking her way towards the viewer in Ring (Japanese Version). Creepy image.

That clip on the Net of the Russian Soldier having his head cut off kind of grosses me out as well!!

i thought bad taste was a small time movie
lol, so the director has made it very big in the film world then :D

also, the scene in resident evil where the person is chopped into small pieces is pretty shocking, funny too though

Casino - Hammering a cheating guys hand :( , Big guy takes the piss at the bar and little guy goes mental and stabs him up with his pen  (Well funny though), Head being put in a vice and havin his eye popped out :o (blood squirting out). And the guy who is seriously beaten up near the end, covered in blood and barely able to move gets chucked in a hole in the ground and they start burying him while hes still moving a little.

For those of you who havnt seen this film, you will be shocked at these scenes! Great movie though!! :D

i don't know if it's because of exposure to the internet for years, but i don't really find anything shocking anymore.

suggestions like a clockwork orange and the exorcist may have been shocking at the time, but watching them today they are pretty tame to be honest. it's weird though, the suggestion of that scene from saving private ryan made me feel uncomfortable when i viewed it, but i wouldn't go as far to say shocking. maybe cos it reminded me about that clip someone mentioned about the soldier getting stabbed in the throat. that was pretty nasty.

i saw a bad clip once of these soldiers beating this little black kid, couldn't have been more than about 10 years old, but from what i gathered on some forums, the kid had murdered people etc, but still, it was disturbing to watch, and the closest i've been to turning something off before it ended.
