Just registed looks like a good site but that wait period thing is such a joke. How are you mean to upload anything if you can't download for like 7hours. The only way round it really is to make sure you have somthing you can upload and get your upload to 10gb then you dont have to wait.

lot's of good torrent sites have a wait period for new torrents and new members

the wait period is retarded, and I never understood the benefit. What is the benefit of having you wait 12 hours before you can download something? That way your chances of being able to upload it back to a 1:1 are smaller because all the "good" people already have it. There are a few sites that do that. Thanks for the site info tho, but they really need to work on the GD image code validation. It dont work very well, at least for me it dont :)

Nothing about invite system...
Maybe they will open signups from time to time, stay alert :)

About waiting time, you have to plan carefully what files you're going to download. When i'm into sites that have that system i try to download files with only 1 seed an lot's of peers. The peers should be around 30, 40% complete, more it's not worth.
