Took No 1 son for his first ever driving lesson tonight - nerves still shot :cry: my poor engine we kangaroo'd like a kangaroo thing.
That's because you know too much about engines - if you were like me and didn't know what a gear-stick grind actually means, you'd be fine about it.
Btw, I honestly don't know what it means when the gear-stick makes a grinding noise but I'm guessing it isn't too serious :smilie4:

If it is your car it's probably ok :whistling
On mine it means that two sets of cogs are not meshing properly and are trying to rip the teeth off each other.
