http://img424.imageshack.us/img424/240/untitled18iv1wo.pngMicrosoft said Tuesday it had filed 26 lawsuits that allege computer dealers sold illegal software, the latest move in the software giant's effort to crack down on intellectual property piracy.

The lawsuits, filed in Colorado, Georgia, Illinois, New Jersey, New York, Ohio and South Carolina, allege that the computer resellers pirated software or installed unlicensed software on computers they sold, Microsoft said.

What some computer resellers do is no surprise to no one...
Last week i went to my computer dealer and a woman went there saying that Windows now was asking for a S/N that she didn't have. They replied "you take this cd and when it asks for S/N you run that little prog... "
:naughty: lol

I'v been asking this little white box store for years , how much sans O/S ?

Then I give him my XP Pro Corp . #, has worked fine for my little circle of friends. He builds it installs the O/S ,I give friend a cd everyones happy .

He would n't do it with out the Serial tho he's no dummy . He charges $140.00
cnd . for a Win XP Pro disk with system, I thought that was a rip off .
