Radeon X800GTO 256M DDR3

Look at the GTO2..thats a decient little card. I believe it out performs some of the 1600 series.

I'd strongly advise the 7000 or x1000 series, because you'll cry when you find out you can't run half of the games with HDR because the x800 doesn't support SM3.0. I'd rather go for a x1600 or 7600, their performance more or less equal to a x800gto, but they do support sm3.0 and HDR. Heck, grab a 7600gt and you'll blaze your way through game settings for now and probably till next year.

All depends on the rest of your system. With these cards I doubt you will get high settings on those next gen games like UT07 and ET:QW

Powersupply needs at least to put out 20A on the +12v rail. SO you will probaly be fine.

sorry to break the news to you, but unless you get nothing less than a 7900GT, you won't be able to play FEAR on max, and the x800 and even 7600gt won't be able to handle UT2007 very well:no:

Agreed.

the x800gto doesnt have shader model 3.0 so i'd avoid that. out of the list he brought up, i'd say go with the x1600xt. But seriously i'd save up for a 7900gt..

Well it depends. If you overclock your cpu (2.8GHz for ex.), ram, graphics card and add, say...plus 1 GB off ram, yes i think it will run those games with good graphics.
