Help Virus..i Think

help....i think i have a virus on my pc...something keeps adding .manifest to the end of the filename every time i install a program..it does this to only the .exe files....is it a virus or something???

umm obvious advice but just scan your pc with an antivirus and you&#39;ll soon know <_<

it is a worm....norton and trojan remover did not detect it...got the info on symantec&#39;s website...did all the steps...still here..any advice???
