Copied PS2 Games: Really Slow Loading

I am using DVD-R disks and copying at 4x speed....anything i can do to fix this?

oh and i use swapmagic 2.0 with flip-top

replace the laser of the ps2 or the dvd-rom of the ps2...and maybe swap the ide cable for the ps2 with a faster one

Yup it more than likely your laser, replace it with a 400c laser, if its a fat PS2.

why not try HDD gaming? its really fast, all you need is pc HD, the PS2 Network Adapter, and HDloader.

Sometimes it happens to me with some games I just burn it again and it's cool. Not all games work with hdd
