Not a lot at all...

All you need is a couple of quid in a Paypal account and your set.

premium account allows access to the entire file list which is great if you have a high retention server. Just paid £2 for 8 weeks, excellent :)

want free newzbin account..apply for editors at
http://v3.newzbin.com/ACCOUNT/APPLICATION/

Alternatively you can apply to be an editor — a small amount of your time will get you free access to all premium features, plus the ability to view unconfirmed posts before other users see them, and access to the internal editor IRC channel.

With immediate effect, we are no longer accepting any new user signups/registrations.

Why are we doing this?
The primary reason is that we simply feel we have enough members now. The hardware behind the site is not going to cope with much more load without significant overhaul, and we want to keep the site quick and responsive for our existing members.

Additionally, we are finding that we're getting to the stage where we're physically unable to respond in a timely manner to all the emails we get - most of them are from new members. By stopping new signups, the amount of emails we get will hopefully decrease - giving us time to work on the new Newzbin site instead.

We may move to a restricted signup (probably 10 or 20 per day, something like that) in the future if it looks workable, or perhaps a "introduce a member" scheme. We'd be happy to read suggestions along those lines - please feel free to comment.

The quote should answer your question. :)

I have newzbin account but I never paid for premium credit, I just come there to see if there is any new releases, then I look up at binsearch.info for the files I want.
Newzbin has another mirror http://v3.newzbin.com that provides more details about their released such as number of files in rar, par, and let you see the comments for free while newzbin.com only allows premium users
