Isn't there some program that gets rid of all the extra unnecessary unwanted microsoft junk...i heard about it somewhere but i dont know what its called

Theres also the decrappifier. Really. It strips all 3rd party software from new Dells & others.

I have a friend that has a Dell but he doesn't use the extra crap software that came pre-installed so...:yup:

:D gotta love it....But seriously the "decrappifier" what a great idea!!!!!!! Easy way to get a performance increase at no cost (for those who choose to buy these prebuilt systems)

Back OT...
There are lots of sites that have Windows "optimizer" advice.
Much of this is highly contraversial and is implemented at your own risk.
There are lots of little tweaks I routinely use (modifying "wait to kill timeouts" etc.), and I still use Black Viper's "Gaming Pro" services hack but I don't know of a single program that does everything for you.

No problem , I have an Iso called Winxp lite corp 2006 that Ive yet to try but its suppose to be quite slimmed down .

make a custom install cd with Nlite. You can update the cd with all the latest patches and remove all programs you don't need ;)
