Mouse wheel aint workin

since this moring for no reason my mouse wheel is not working, everything is working fine except the wheel, i have Logitech MX1000 laser but ive used another mouse and that even didnt worked which indicats its not mouses problem.
anybody know what should i do, ill be doing a backup restore which is kinda old so please help me if u know anything about this error.

Try reinstalling the Logitech Setpoint software.

Are you sure it was a mouse wheel?

Many people get a hamster wheel by mistake, but they are really too much for the mouse to turn. You can see the difference here.
